How old is shorty gomez from swamp pawn

Photo by Johnny Gembitsky -- Rick Phillips started out as a fisherman before going into the seafood distribution business. Me and my wife Patty, my employees and some of my fishermen, we just do our thing and they film us. A typical episode could have Phillips buying a truck full of crawfish or a trailer full of alligators. We live life to the fullest, we party, we eat good, we get along with our friends, we help each other out, and that seems to be the attraction.

There seems to be a demand, people want to see that. They like seeing that. When Coy Gomez was diagnosed with cancer, the community rallied around him.

Not your typical pawnshop, Phillips Swamp Seafood buys and sells anything the bayou serves up — including alligators, turtles, bullfrogs, crawfish, and everything in between. Swamp Pawn features an array of quirky locals who rely on their ability to sell whatever will catch a price. This close-knit community lives off the land, learns to be resourceful when times are lean and depends on each other to get by.

Every town needs a mayor, and Rick Phillips is the closest thing Bayou Pigeon is going to get. Rick grew up in Baton Rouge, LA. You could say that fisherman Clayton Daley has the bayou in his blood.

He works the swamp any way he can to make a living. And he does it the way a true-blue Cajun always has — stringing nets across the waterway and using his boat to stampede the fish right into the nets.

Together, they make a formidable team. Get More:. Sign up for THR news straight to your inbox every day. January 25, am. Restaurants Featured on the Comedy. All Rights reserved. Close the menu Logo text.
