Switching paradigms takes to much time hence why it's best to potion heal. This method takes about 1 minute to defeat Odin. Guydodge View Profile View Posts. Seraphita View Profile View Posts.

Odin is lightning's summon so obviously the best is to do what Lightning does best. Lightning does best ravaging so cast at Odin like your life depends on it. Or you can use Potions. I would keep your HP high to survive his attack. Press square when it's filled. There's only one spell to heal at the moment for you and it's "Cure".

You do have it available from the Crystarium, right? Even if you don't, you have potions to use up - though having a Medic that can cast "Cure" would really help, especially when Odin brutally unleashes a chain of attacks occasionally. Plus, you didn't need to make a separate thread for this.

Bambi Dark Knight Veteran. You are changing your paradigm so you have a medic in there right? Mitsuki Veteran. Click to expand Serah l'Cie, Veteran. This one was a bitch for me, but I did it! Basically what Swift said, use a Fortisol and Aegisol if you have them before battle. If not, have Hope as Synergist and wait for him to cast his spells on both party members, once he does that switch to the paradigm War and Peace.

Have Lightning attack until you see Odin use his Shield. Once he does that then quickly switch to Dualcasting and just pummel him with spells until he resumes attacking. I switched back and forth between the War and Peace and the Dualcasting that way Hope could keep me healed while fighting him and then the Dualcasting when he's using his shield because that racks his gestalt gauge up. Just keep doing that and once his gauge is up, press square not sure what it is on the to end the battle and you're good to go.

You also may want to consider going and grinding to get some more CP points and make your characters a bit stronger. Good luck! This is going to require careful switching and timing between your paradigms. Once he switches to attacking, either go full Medic, or switch to Hope as a medic to belay the damage a bit. Get the timing down on your paradigm switches, and make sure to keep healing up.

Do note that only Lightning needs to survive the battle, so if you find things coming down to the wire with little time and a nearly full gauge you can attack all out to try and top it off.

Odin will almost always attack Hope first, due to him being weaker than Lightning, so that can help give you that final push at the end.
